Book Chicken Coup
Five-piece rock and roll from Denver. Originals, covers, and a room full of people singing along. Here's what a night with us looks like and how to get one on the calendar.
Who we are
Chicken Coup is Patrick McGovern (drums), Blake Summers (guitar), Blake Schierer (guitar), Neil Poulin (bass), and Holly Shattuck (keys). All five of us sing.
We've been playing Denver rooms since 2020, from Larimer Lounge and Globe Hall to Black Shirt Brewing and Lost Lake, and our EP Meadowlark Drive is streaming everywhere. More about us on the About page.
What you get
- A support slot or the whole night. We're happy with a 45-minute set on a multi-band bill or carrying a full evening of two or three sets.
- Originals and covers. Our own songs alongside rock covers people know the words to. Tell us the crowd and we'll shape the set.
- Five voices. Everyone in the band sings, so expect harmonies.
- We bring people. Every show goes up on this site, our socials, and our mailing list of friends and regulars.
What we need
- Stage room for a five piece: drums, two guitars, bass, and keys.
- Five vocal mics and a DI for keys. Tell us what your room has for sound and we'll work with it.
- About 30 minutes to load in and set up, and a little less to tear down.
